GOP Attacking Affordable Care Act Again!

The Republican-led U.S. House has voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, aka “Obamacare” yet again. The problem is that this time the Senate is also controlled by Republicans and is likely to follow suits if Democrats do not find a way to filibuster repeal. Therefore, we must act now. Here is a petition telling the “GOP” that “Obamacare” is here to stay: http://my.democrats.org/page/s/tell-the-gop-obamacare-is-here-to-stay?

Happy New Year! Here’s to a great 2015! | MoveOn.Org | Democracy In Action

Here’s to a great 2015! | MoveOn.Org | Democracy In Action. – Happy New Year! Finally emerging from the long year that was 2014 feels wonderful! Things were still accomplished, though. In this video Robert Reich shows that even in the dark days of a year like 2014 progressives working together made strides. This should remind us be undaunted by setbacks and energize us to keep our heads up and make even more progress this year! Despite the “GOP” takeover of the U.S. Senate (and gain of governorships) 2015 can be a great year

Discharge the Rogue Governors

Another calamity that befell us in the 2010 Elections  was the rise of the Republican Party’s atrocious rogue governors. Here is a list:

Rick Scott (Florida)

Scott Walker (Wisconsin)

Tom Corbett (Pennsylvania)

Rick Snyder (Michigan)

Chris Christie (New a Jersey)

Pat McCrory (North Carolina)

Jon Kasich (Ohio)

Paul LePage (Maine)

All of these have tried to implement voter ID requires and otherwise restrict voting. They all need to be shown the door next year.
