Thenewcivilrightsmovement.com reports that federal district judge Robert Hinckle has ruled that clerks in every one of Florida’s 67 counties is required by the U.S. constitution to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. What a great way to start of the year! The one existing and very significant caveat is that this ruling could be over-ruled by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals (based in Atlanta) and/or the U.S. Supreme Court, both of which are conservative, so stay tuned!
